Privacy Policy

fedo ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

On this marketing website, we collect the following — and nothing else:

• Checkout email address (via Paddle) — we don't run a mailing list or waitlist form on this site. If you purchase a plan, checkout is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record: Paddle collects your email address directly at checkout to process the payment and deliver your receipt, under Paddle's privacy policy. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage analytics — page views and anonymous interaction events, including which button or call-to-action you clicked, are recorded by Umami, which we self-host on our own server. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint you, does not follow you across other websites, and the data is never sold or shared.
• Session recordings — to understand which parts of our pages and blog posts people actually read, a sample of visits to this website is recorded: scrolling, clicks, and mouse movement. Recordings are anonymous, use no cookies or browser storage, and are captured and stored by our self-hosted Umami instance — never shared with any third party — and automatically deleted after 30 days. Anything you type is masked and never captured, and the recorder does not capture embedded third-party frames, so the Paddle checkout and any payment details you enter there are never recorded.

What we do not collect

• No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting
• No cookies (beyond what Cloudflare sets for infrastructure purposes)
• No third-party advertising data
• No data from your users unless you explicitly attach it when integrating the fedo SDK

SDK data collection

When you integrate the fedo SDK in your app, fedo collects only the feedback content your users explicitly submit, plus any metadata you choose to attach (such as app version or a user ID you provide). fedo does not passively track your users' behaviour, location, or device identifiers.

How we use your data

• To fulfil purchases — payment processing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Paddle as our merchant of record
• To understand which parts of the landing page drive sign-ups (anonymous aggregate only)

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. The site itself is served through Cloudflare's infrastructure (EU and US regions). Usage analytics and session recordings are not sent to any analytics vendor — they are processed and stored on our own self-hosted server at analytics.mabd.dev.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@getfedo.com. We will remove your information within 30 days. Session recordings are deleted automatically after 30 days regardless; because they carry no persistent identifier, a deletion request for a recording needs an approximate date and time so we can locate it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
